ZoomSlowik
Your lineup looks very good for a 14 team league. I'm not quite sure how you came up with all of those guys. That would be pretty good for a 12 team league, or even a 10 team with some slight modifications. The pitching isn't as solid, but that is to be expected with the strength of your lineup. If you could add another solid starter somehow, that would be really good.
iWiN4PreP
agreed. I really am clueless how you get that team in a 14 team draft. lol. thats amazing. pitching is mediocre, not great, not bad but you still got 2 solid closers, and an ace prolly (felix). great team if it really is a 14 team league. Haha, it really is a 14 team league. Some guy on myspace needed an extra guy so I joined the league. I was really suprised at how bad some of the people in the league were. I think the key to my pitching staff is Oliver Perez. If he can return to his 2004 form, I can't be touched, barring injuries to my offense. My main focus was getting hitting first because lately there hasn't been consistent pitching so all of the guys are basically wild cards to have a Cy Young season. Edit: I dropped Olivo and Craig Wilson and picked up Josh Towers and Joe Blanton today. I'm now short one offense player, but there are guys out there just as good as Olivo or Wilson. ChWRoCk2
QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 02:06 PM) I'm in the process of trying to commit highway robbery. One of my targets has Utley, Carlos Lee, and Bonds. The other has Tejada, Beltran, and Dunn. I'd love to find a way to get 2 out of 3 from one of these guys. go for it, shouldnt be hard to pull off getting bonds but tejada and beltran they might want quite a bit

iWiN4PreP
I'd rather have konerko, i just dont think edmonds is that good anymore, and isnt he injury-prone? Not one of my fav. players. Leonard Zelig
I'd like to get some opinons here on my situation. I am in 2 leagues which are drafting next Sunday & Monday. I have the first pick in one leagues and planned on taking Arod. I just found out that through a random drawing that I got the first pick in the other league too. So my question is should I take Arod in both leagues, or should I try to diversify my teams a bit. Oh yeah, one more factor is that one league is for higher stakes than the other. ZoomSlowik
Jimbo, your team looks pretty solid. I'd keep an eye out for a productive outfielder at some point though. Griffey is probably going to get hurt at some point, and Maggs might too. Also, it might be advantageous to move Tracy to 3B once he gains eligibility (especially if Beltre tanks again), so you might need an extra OF. jackie hayes
Oswalt + Peavy + Hernandez, that had to take an investment. Good pitching, agree w/ ZS on the hitting side. Mauer (I think?), Pujols, and Bay are a great base, but some ?s among the others.
