Phuck the Cubs
Vote. I say yes, since he's got 429 right now, is in his prime, and has been the youngest to reach 100, 200, 300, 400, plus he's got 5 more years on his contract. Balta1701
Who cares about how many years left he has on his contract? The question isn't how much longer he'll be paid, it's when his body starts breaking down and suffering nagging injuries.

Phuck the Cubs
Until last year...neither had Thome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well Thome is 5 years older than A-Rod. A-Rod is still in his prime.
Rowand44
To hard to tell at this point, Griffey was on his way to it and one nagging injury just destroyed his chance. Edited February 21, 2006 by Rowand44
Al Lopez's Ghost
I say yes, he's just a tremendous talent. Of course Seattle got better after he left them, Texas is better off without him and the Yankees haven't fared too well in the playoffs with him. But as an individual player, he's the best around. Drew
Hard to say. I'd rather see him break the records than Barroid, though.
