Spiff
Jason Giambi (hitting .200) is 30,000 votes ahead of Delgado (RBI leader and tearing the cover off the ball) Big name players (Ichiro, Manny, Bernie) far ahead of the far more deserving players: Garret Anderson, Rocco Baldelli, etc... Obviously the All-Star Game is just a popularity contest... Ramirez is hitting .310 with 7hrs and 32 rbis and an OPS of .907 how is he undeserving? Garret Anderson .308 7hr 40 rbi OPS .864 similar numbers but not enough to justify replacing manny with him.
