Steff Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Amber alert: Amber alert Issued for 4 Year Old Illinois Girl Sangamon County Illinois--The Sangamon County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois State Police issued the Amber alert after the child was reportedly abducted from 3050 Green Valley Road in Springfield on February 21, 2006 at 2pm. Cassandra M Mcnear, a white female, 4 years old, 3 feet, 42 pounds with brown hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing pink/red top with heart in middle, pink pants, white Nike tennis shoes, and pink coat with cat pictures. Cassandra was taken by her father Adam L.McNear who is driving a 2003 Silver Mitsubishi Galant with Illinois License Plates 728-7963. He may be en route to Highland,California. Anyone with information on this abduction should call 9-1-1 or (217)753-6600 http://www.projectsafekids.org/alert.html for her safe return.
