Everybody has a chance in that league other than the Pirates and Marlins, and by everybody I mean everybody. The Cubs rotation right now has Maddux, a struggling Zambrano, and crap. Also, their middle relief blows.....Eyre, Howry, and Dempster are good, but the rest is poop. And not having Lee screws with everybody else in the lineup, the balance isn't there. This may be less likely that last year's strained oblique to develop into a long-term problem, but it's still a cause for concern for the rest of the season. He might miss a full quarter of the year. The A's didn't announce who would replace him in the rotation. Brad Halsey will likely be the choice, and he should be picked up in AL-only leagues. The problem is the A's are always late bloomers, they get hotter as the year goes by. But if it hits June and guys are still below the Mendoza line and the pitching is still struggling and Harden is hurt, you've got to get something for Zito while you can. Gary Sheffield only has a bruised hand, despite some worry about him having broken it. Brian Roberts hit the 15 day DL again. Mark DeRosa came off the DL for the Rangers. Royals Center Fielder Esteban German left a game after being hit in the face with a fly ball. That must be some interesting video.
