iWiN4PreP
I just saw a commericial IT was talkign about Spring Training schedules airing on comcast. I know its not "huge" since cubs are on WGN, just thought it was funny, went something like "Comcast is airing 20 spring training game" Then it went on to show the two teams and it had "we have 18 white sox games" "and 2 cubs games" was pretty funny, just something to laugh at in a way. Phuck the Cubs
I think some other station is going to carry the Cubs ST games.
KevHead0881
Yah, they got 4 games on WGN. From my understanding, there isn't another team in baseball that broadcasts anywhere near as many ST games as the Sox.
The Critic
We can thank the NHL's stupidity for this. Comcast needed some programming during the Pointless Work Stoppage of 2004-5, so they filled up their March with the White Sox. The response was very positive, so they decided to do it again. This is the best thing the NHL has done for Chicago in a LONNNNNNNG time.

All ST games are during the afternoon, whether they're on a weekday or weekend. Not many NHL games are going to be in the afternoon. They could've done it either way. I remember the lack of local programming being a reason they gave for expanding the Spring Training broadcast schedule last year. Either way, the NHL is stupid and Comcast is generous to Sox fans.
