Rowand44
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 11:42 AM) I won't even comment on how his D is kinda overrated and his shooting isn't all that good...I'll just say he'll be 37 in '08. He's a great defender, he might play a little dirty but he's easily one of the best perimeter defenders in the game. I must agree though, being first in the league in 3 point percentage is pretty bad.
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 03:25 PM) I must agree though, being first in the league in 3 point percentage is pretty bad. It's only 168 attempts, too small a sample size.

Felix
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 11:58 AM) He'll also be 33 by 08. Has he shown any hint of slowing down?

Rowand44
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 05:10 PM) 37 That's great, we'll see what happens then but don't say he's not a good shooter when he clearly is. As of now he's a perfect fit for team, you can't just assume he's going to slow down in 2 years when he clearly hasn't yet.
nitetrain8601
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 07:50 PM) That's great, we'll see what happens then but don't say he's not a good shooter when he clearly is. As of now he's a perfect fit for team, you can't just assume he's going to slow down in 2 years when he clearly hasn't yet. That's what happens with almost all perimeter players though. They just suddenly one year hit a wall where they struggle. Gary Payton was the same way. He was still a good player when with Milwaukee/Seattle and the next year with LA, he just started to stink. nitetrain8601
QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) I'm talking about Iverson, not Bowen. In that case, I could see a case for him making the team and not making the team. I mean he doesn't play defense anymore but on the otherhand, he really wants to play for Team USA and is a very talented player.
