Both Borchard and Anderson each struck out once. Cotts pitched an inning and induced 3 groundouts. In the non-radio split squad game against the Rockies, Javy Vazquez went 3 IP, 3 H, 3 K, 0 BB, 0 ER. greasywheels121
I'm going to move the game 1 to the archives now. We're saving the games in a Season Review forum once again. It did good things for us in 2005; there's no reason not to do it again.

SSH2005
Corwin Malone pitched horribly. Fields screwed him over with a big error on a possible inning-ending DP but Malone melted down after that. 1 IP, 3 ER, 1 H, 2 K, 3 BB Scratch one off from the second lefty competition. SSH2005
Haha, Farmer and Singleton talking about Sosa and steroids. They are talking about how strange it is that Sosa has gone completely downhill offensively the past few years. Agustin Montero serves up a double and a walk. Another guy for Charlotte. Jorge Velandia turns a DP, inning over. 8th inning: Tim Hummel lines out to RF. Someone (???) walks. Casey Rogowski hits a grounder up the middle. Everybody safe on an error. Runners at 1B and 2B with 1 out. Borchard K's. 2 outs. Oh boy, another season of Farmer begging for homeruns. I wouldn't scratch him off after 1 performance. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From the sound of Farmer, Malone had no control whatsoever. I doubt he will even have a chance at the LOOGY spot. Borchard looking pretty bad today with 2 K's. Bases loaded. 2 outs. CF Sean Smith pops out to RF. Inning over. 5-2 Diamondbacks.
