GO BUCKS!!!  So glad we get to play Indiana and get a chance to redeem our lose early in the year.

Should be fun. Both teams are riding high with winning streaks going into the game, much like last time. We both play a real similar game, getting our big men going and that opens up the treys. It'll be interesting to see who can establish himself first in this game between Marco and Dials.

And though we're wearing the away jerseys, we've definitely got our share of support in the arena.

I wouldn't go that far.  But he's definitely not the player I thought he was gonna become.

How many 6'0" or under players do you see in the NBA that aren't really a PG? The only one I can really think of is AI, or at least the only one that is doing anything. Dee Brown is almost certainly going to at least get a shot at the NBA, and I'm not sure he really should. I know I wouldn't touch him if I were a GM. He's short, isn't a good shooter, doesn't penetrate, and isn't a good distributor. Unless he's on a team that runs constantly like Phoenix, I don't really see much value for him on the next level.

DEFENSE

Close game with a few minutes left.  I sure hope the Hawks can hang on, but man are they playing some D.

Actually its more really crappy basketball than defense. Both teams are extremely tired and are very short on every shot.

I've only watched the 2nd half, but all I've seen is tremendous defense. I won't say teams are tired, but MSU is not getting open shots. At the same time they are playing pretty good defense too.

Right now it would be the lowest % MSU would have shot in the last 10 years.

He got hacked and than walked.  He had the board and got drilled and it knocked him off balance.

Got all ball when he hacked on him. He lost the ball and walked.

MSU is tired. They HAVE to be. IF they squeak this one out today, they'll lose tomorrow.

Meant to say I won't say they aren't tired. My bad. But I agree, its hard as heck for them to win out considering they had the extra game. They still have a golden shot in today's game.

Iowa has let a few get away from them that they should have won earlier in the year.

This game and the fact that both teams are tired is just another reason why there shouldn't be a conference tournament. How much better would the big ten be if everyone played the extra 4 games and had a balanced schedule? I know, i know, it's all about money.

These announcers are ridiculous. They just said Trannon could stay with Haluska. Haluska is a freaking sprinter. He isn't the greatest dribble and Trannon is a great athlete (I think he's also a TE on MSU's football team) but in a speed race he has no shot with Haluska.

Ager just hit a huge 3 to cut it back to 5.

I agree. Although I just think they should do the conference tourney a day or two earlier.
