whitesoxfan101
This officiating isn't doing much for the Gophers either.
Felix
If the rest of the Gophers played like they did yesterday, and Grier played like he has today, they'd be a tough team to beat.
Mplssoxfan
QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) They really like their hockey in Minnesota, maybe thats why You will learn, Felix, about the High School Hockey Tournament.
Felix
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) 3's are the difference, iowa 7/14 minne 2/13 The difference is shooting in general. Iowa is shooting 52%, Minnesota is shooting 37%.
IlliniKrush
Iowa shooting 63% this half, on a 14-2 run.
whitesoxfan101
Minnesota's defense falling apart, and their offense other than Grier has been horrid this half. Amazing this game is even close.

Rex Hudler
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 01:08 AM) The CUSA games today were/are on CSTV, which why you aren't getting those. Actually, I just realized I am. CSTV is on the Sports Tier on our cable lineup and it is buried, along with ESPN Classic, in the high numbers around a bunch of channels I never watch. UAB up 4 with 13 minutes left in the game.

Mplssoxfan
Another typical year for Golden Gopher sports: Crappy bowl game -- check. NIT -- check. Wrestling and hockey top five -- check. If I ever used smilies, I'd use that guy banging his head against the wall.
Felix
QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) hockey top five -- check. Didn't they win the McNaughtin trophy this year or something? I was in Minnesota last weekend and watched a game against Minnesota at Duluth, I think it was the last of the year. They ended up winning 2-0 for their 3rd straight shutout or something. I actually enjoyed watching it, even though I don't like hockey much. I guess I'll have to get into hockey when at the campus
Chisoxfn
Iowa picked up a win. Like I said, I don't care what we do the rest of the big 10 tourney. I just want to escape it healthy.
aboz56
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 09:08 PM) Iowa picked up a win. Like I said, I don't care what we do the rest of the big 10 tourney. I just want to escape it healthy. I'd love for IU to get a shot at them and wipe out Alford. Although getting past Ohio St could be damn near impossible. aboz56
QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 09:35 PM) Oh ye of little faith! Early line is Ohio State by 5, although I think it'll be closer than that. If IU can avoid a long drought I can definitely see them winning.
