I can hardly wait until tomorrow.  See what seed we get, what bracket, because I have a feeling we are going to suprise some people and take a few hard fought wins.

Its time the Valley represents someone in the final four

If you dont think SIU or any Valley team can make it to the final four, well thats your perogative.  But I see no reason why they cant.  Most teams wont be used to the stifyling defense like the teams from the valley possess.

Sure they will. Valley teams play hard, but a lot of teams play hard on defense. Look at the Big Ten tournament all weekend. The defensive intensity this weekend has been equal to that of the Valley teams and the Big Ten has more talented players to go with.

It would take A LOT for one of the Valley teams to make the Final Four. Setting your sights on the Sweet Sixteen would be much more realistic.

I didn't say a valley team would make the final four, I just said it's about time we got a team there.

My point is, stick with shooting for the Sweet Sixteen. As good of a basketball league the Valley has become it still has its limitations.

You may be right, but I could see those limitations going away. The conference has been getting great press this season, I could see alot of top recruits giving Valley schools a better look. Chicago wont be able to be had for a while, for whatever reason the ACC plucks Chicago dry every year. But, at the same time, I could see Bradley weakening U of Illinois' hold on Peoria, and SIU, which already makes good with E. St. Louis, could branch out even more. Wichita St. could maybe start pulling recruits from Kansas and K. State, and Northern Iowa could get in bidding wars with Iowa and Iowa State. As for Creighton, branching into Oklahoma and Texas is not out of the question.
