Buehrle>Wood
Clemens is going to take the mound for his first appearance of the WBC and maybe one of his last ever. US is in a must win situation, but they should be able to pick up the easy W and move on. I don't believe there is any live TV again. GoodAsGould
this should be done by the 5th inning......
ZoomSlowik
Not exactly a contest here. US is up 10-0, and it's only the second inning.
Buehrle>Wood
Wow. 16-0 in the top of the 3rd. Mercy Rule will be in full effect. Griffey has 6 RBI's so far.

Milkman delivers
QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 04:39 PM) "dream team", f***ing ridiculous IMO, there's just been one dream team. Now it's just a bunch of glory hogs that really don't give a s*** either way. Oh well, at least the baseball players seem to actually want it. IlliniKrush
While i'm somewhat interested in the WBC, s*** like this makes it stupid. Why is south africa in this thing to begin with? We could have done without some of these teams.

whitesoxfan101
Yay, we're beating a glorified high school team. We are toast against Venezuela and the DR and maybe even Cuba. Ugh.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure that everyone on the team except maybe Clemens really cares. A-Rod -- his sincerity I doubt because of his flipflops. But aside from that, I just get the vibe that the team is very happy to be there. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 04:34 PM) Yay, we're beating a glorified high school team. ChWRoCk2
I like how south africa joined the wbc, its good to see baseball is spreading around the world. Hell they might not be good but if they improve and get something going over there this sport of baseball could become a really liked national sport.
