SSH2005 Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 (edited) Carlos Beltran, Bernie Williams and Alex Cintron homered Friday night as Puerto Rico crushed Cubs 12-2 in seven innings. It was the second homer in three games for Beltran, who also walked twice tonight. Dicky Gonzalez started for Puerto Rico and pitched four scoreless innings. Both teams had already advanced to round two of the WBC. Puerto Rico faces the Dominican Republic on Sunday.
