daa84
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 08:53 PM) Why would anyone hate Jose Valentine? He's a sexy latin porn star. true that stache is still the best in all of baseball, but hittin .219 or whatever with like a .280 OBP with shaky defense made me hate him...tho his D was far better than most people gave him credit for Edited March 13, 2006 by daa84
SSH2005
so far the line on marte..... 1/3 IP 2 ER 3 H 1 BB....still responsible for runners on 1st and 3rd <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Man, anyone who thinks we miss this headcase is insane. The dude is a choke-artist at this point. He definately is not the same Marte from 2002-2004. It's amazing that we got a guy like Mackowiak for him. That trade was a steal. PaleHose4Life35
I love before even Marte threw a pitch the announcers were giving him so much praise. I guess they do not remember the second half of last season when he sucked beyond belief. Glad to see Marte do so horrible and even happier that he is not on the South Side anymore. Cintron playing a little Ozzie ball, I like it.

Flash Tizzle
Puerto Rico's bullpen is THE SUCK. They'll need every run possible. Glad to see Vazquez pitch well through Dominican's lineup, earlier.

After Vazquez left I was just interested in watching DR's lineup play.
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 09:07 PM) I was actaully really excited to see Vaz pitch, because really I was not too informed on him. Really enjoyed what I saw. I recall Vazquez's fastball consistently at 92-93 during matchups against the White Sox the last several years. He was around high 80's, low 90's earlier and still pitched well. Very excited about what he could bring to our team.
SSH2005
Boy, I miss Marte... 20.25 ERA, 0.1 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 3 H, 1 BB, 1 K :puke Anyone remember Jose Santiago? He pitched for Charlotte in 2004 and is in Puerto Rico's bullpen.

SnB
wow, this is a huge suprise. DR should not be getting dominated like this.
YASNY
Vasquez seemed to get a lot of ground balls. He gave up a few solid shots, but against that line up, that's gonna happen. I was glad to see the worm burners.

CWSGuy406
How did Puerto Rico score three more? I've been flipping back and forth since Vazquez was taken out.
