whitesoxfan99
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 11:27 PM) It'll be interesting to see what he does when he's finally playing people closer to his size. He has dominated every big man he has played against throughout his high school career. He plays against guys his size during AAU and at the summer camps and dominated every big man in his class. The guy would be start for quite a few NBA teams next year, he is going to be a dominant force at the college level. whitesoxfan101
He'll dominate next year and go pro, but the other 4 guys in that class are going to be kicking people's ass for a few years.

Kyyle23
Could anyone explain to me the whole "Bobo"/Greg Oden story? I have heard it referenced many times by blogs and articles, but I still dont understand the story.
thedoctor
QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 03:41 PM) Oden and Conley will be the best freshmen in the nation next season. i am not as sold on conley as i am on oden. conley will be a nice player, no doubt. i am not sure he will start, though, and i'm not sure he's better than fellow recruit daequan cook. Palehosefan
Oden and Conley will be the best freshmen in the nation next season. Don't go quite that far. Oden, yes. But Conley is the 4th best PG in his class right now behind Tywon Lawson, Sherron Collins, and Javaris Crittendon. But Conley is the perfect PG to play with the OSU team, he's an un-assuming leader on the floor that can hit a 3 when needed.
ZoomSlowik
They've got a lot of guys that are out of eligibility on this OSU team, otherwise they might be the pre-season #1 going into next season. The only guys back are Lewis and Butler. That means Cook is probably another freshmen starter.

Palehosefan
There's going to be some nasty teams next year. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Big 12 will be the best conference in America next year. Texas and Kansas have a real good chance of being in the top 5. Nebraska and Oklahoma will be decent. Texas Tech and Texas A&M will be tourney teams. Oklahoma State could be as well. Missouri and Iowa State will be tourney contenders. Colorado should be above .500 as well. I don't see a weak link in the entire league, as Baylor is getting in some very good recruits last year and this coming year. thedoctor
QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 04:26 PM) thats a lie isnt conley odens friend? conley and oden will both start, im sure some players from ohio st are gonna go pro unless they really have the desire to try to win this thing next year conley and oden are friends as well as high school teammates. conley is good, but i don't see him starting. i would foresee this: C: oden PF: matt terwilliger, ivan harris or juco recruit hunter SF: ron lewis or daequan cook 2G: ron lewis or daequan cook PG: jamar butler butler will be the best point guard in the league next year so i can not see a circumstance where he cedes time to conley. i do think at times butler will slide over to the two-guard spot and conley will come in to play point. conley is a true point guard, so i can not see him spending time at the two, at least not next year.
