ZoomSlowik
Add UCLA to the list of teams to watch for next year as well. The Bruins should be solid as long as Farmar and Afflalo stay and Shipp is back from injury. Texas might have to worry about guys leaving. Aldrige will definitely go high in the draft if he leaves, and although Gibson's stock has slipped, he still has a lot of talent. Tucker should definitely be back though, and Durant can play. DJ Augustin is a very good PG, Durant is a superstar SF type, and they have even more size coming in, especially in the giant Dexter Pittman(6'10 330). Gibson should be back, but who knows there. Having Augustin, Gibson and Durant alone would keep them in every game with their outside shooting ability. All 3 can be lights out shooters, especially Durant. Still, Kansas and Carolina are going to have the deepest lineups, even if Rush and Hansbrough leave.
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 01:13 PM) I'm still not convinced Mr. Rush will be back at Kansas. If he's a lotto pick, he's gone. I'm not sure if Rush is a lotto pick though.
ZoomSlowik
I forgot a couple of other team that could be really good depending on who stays and who goes: Florida and LSU. All of Florida's important players are underclassmen, the only question is if Brewer, Noah, or Horford go pro. LSU loses Darrell Mitchell, but Tack Minor should be back from injury, and Dameon Mason is eligible as a transfer from Marquette. They could be pretty impressive if their big guys stick around. Palehosefan
GT will be back with a vengeance next year. They return their top 7 players, but more importantely they actually add a stud PG in Javaris Crittendon. They will have a nasty lineup like this. PG. Crittendon(elite PG recruit, tall PG, top 15 recruit in nation) SG. Anthony Morrow SF. Thad Young(elite SF recruit, SF/PF combo, top 5 recruit in nation) PF. Jeremis Smith C. Ra'Sean Dickey You won't find 5 better starting lineups in the nation.
whitesoxfan101
Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State are going to be back and looking for revenge next year. I wouldn't want to be playing either of those squads.
ZoomSlowik
If we're going with powerhouses that should rebound, how about Arizona? They shouldn't lose anyone to the pros, McClellan should be back and playing better, and they add an impact freshman in Chase Budinger. They also have a few other highly regarded recruits that didn't get much playing time, like Price, Onubon, and Tangara. Granted it doesn't look as good as Georgia Tech, but it still looks like a decent team.
Palehosefan
Good point, and losing Hassan Adams and Chris Rodgers almost seems like an addition, atleast thats what I've heard from alot of Arizona fans. Chase Budinger is a heck of a player as well, when you see him, you think of Napolean Dynamite, but he has ALOT of game. He reminds me of Reyshawn Terry's game this year, long, athletic, pretty outside shot, isn't afraid to mix it up inside with blocked shots and tough rebounds/put-backs. He_Gawn
I think Oden will dominate. Last year on national television he beat Tyler Hansbrough. Oden's just so big and strong for his age is ridiculous.
