Boras had them bidding against themselves! That is a difference of almost $90 million! The NBA is a completely different monster. They have an individual salary cap. For someone who is going to make the max, there is no need for an agent. Baseball doesn't have such a structure. So your agent can make a big difference. Maybe he'll have his wife do the negotiating and keep the fee in the family. Wouldn't be the first time. 5% of $50 Million is $2.5 Large.
