YASNY
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 09:50 AM) The uproar of cubs fans in my office is downright hilarious. Enjoy!
Balta1701
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 06:46 AM) Quite simply, I think the Cubs feel that Prior is a pussy, and the only way they can get him to compete with the pain is to get a doctor to clear him. I think you're right on the first part, but I also think you're wrong on the second...and he really shouldn't be pitching with pain...because when he starts feeling pain, he winds up unable to pitch for a few months. That's the thing....they never found anything that showed he actually had anything wrong with him. No pitcher is ever going to be 100 pct healthy in the arm/shoulder/elbow region. lord chas
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 09:48 AM) Pussy might be too harsh. He might be overly cautious and with their training staff, do you really blame him?? nope hes a big pussy
LosMediasBlancas
OK, lets say he stops being a um 'pussy' and pitches throught it, f***s up his arm, goes under the knife and is lost for the year. Then he'll be called a selfish prick for not having spoken up about the discomfort he felt in March. I'm not a Prior fan either but c'mon people. It's normal. Prior yanks himself from starts with any slight discomfort he feels.

Its pretty obvious that this has been going on longer than in March. The cubs were blaming his setbacks on a cold he had in december. They kept saying that he is coming along slowly. What exactly was he recovering from? I guess we found out. This guy has had problems all offseason. Also I guess DLEE has labrum problems in his left shoulder. On Tribune Live they said the doctor that the Cubs sent Prior to is an elbow specialist. hahahaha Everyone on the show is making fun of the Cubs. Kyyle23
Mac, Jurko and Harry were saying that Angels team physician Dr Lewis Yocum has seen more Cubs players in the past 3 years than he has Angels players, lol.

Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) exactly... Teddy Greenstein wrote a smear piece in the Trib afterwards. Here's hoping Greenstien now apologizes and writes the truth about the lies that come out of the Cubs organization. No public apology, but he a Carroll must have made nice over the phone.... http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines

Offman had a little s***-fit about them.

Never or All Of The Above"
Flash Tizzle
Prior's going to have to learn to pitch through pain. Toughen up. It must be devastating for him to realize an unnatural motion such as pitching a baseball may impose stress upon his body.
Phuck the Cubs
Update: Per the Cubs, it's only a 'shoulder strain' wink-wink. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That means a torn shoulder, out for the season

There are many levels of injury - sorry to get so technical right there....
