Gene Honda Civic
This has all the makings of a classic. If Damaso Marte comes in for DR, Venezuela's got a shot.
WHarris1
Tie game. For those of you watching how did Freddy look, my cable has been out 3 hours. Edited March 15, 2006 by WHarris1
Flash Tizzle
I regret watching American Idol in place of this game thus far. Venezuela just had their first hit of the game in the 6th. Tie game now. Liriano is so similar to Santana it's freightening. How it is possible for a ballclub to not only have a pitcher of Santana's caliber, but have perhaps the only pitcher in the majors who can match his potential? f***ing San Francisco. Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 07:47 PM) Tie game. For those of you watching how did Freddy look, my cable has been out 3 hours. A bit of first inning freddy, but more than anything he was just facing an awesome offense. Polanco slapped one to right. Tejada pulled a 3-2 breaking ball out of the dirt for a double, putting runners on second and third nobody out in the first. But from then on he was lights out. He got the next two batters out, before a slow roller to third by Alou scored a run. It was a play that Crede makes pretty regularly. Miguel Cabrera was slow to read the ball, and didn't pick it. SSH2005
Freddy pitched great considering the D.R.'s sick ass lineup... Freddy's line: 4.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB (intentional), 4 K, 1.23 ERA Edited March 15, 2006 by SSH2005

Flash Tizzle
I hope Zambrano found what he was looking for after sticking a finger deep in his nose. And you can't blame Tejada for that last error. Not like he's experienced a game within the last several years worth a damn.
