Except that he is showing the modern, crap, version of the Emperor. The TRUE Emperor, the one made by the real original Epiphone company (before Gibson bought them out and drove the once respectable company into the ground). The one I mention is this:

This guitar was made to to battle with the Gibby Super 400. It's larger than the Gibby even. The one shown above (in Jim's post) is actually the Emperor II, the Joe Pass model. It's actually quite small for a Jazz box.
