Palehosefan
http://northcarolina.scout.com/2/514249.html Check out this ridiculous dunk that James White might pull out at the contest. White, Grier, Carney, and Noel are all ridiculous dunkers. "It will be televised on tape delay Thursday at 9 p.m. on ESPN."
nitetrain8601
I don't think James White will be allowed to participate. He's suspended for Cincy's NIT game or was because he was academically ineligible, so I doubt they allow him to participate in the dunk contest. Jordan4life_2007
I've seen these. Very impressive. Too bad James White will be the next Gerald Wallace at the nba level. Edited March 29, 2006 by Jordan4life_2006

Palehosefan
He's also still only 23 years old. He's going to be something else.

Against the Hawks. Wallace simply isn't that good. A good role-player at best. He hasn't come close to living up to the hype he had coming out of Alabama. He's a freakish athlete with minimal skills. Much like James White. Edited March 30, 2006 by Jordan4life_2006

Do I look like Hammerhead? Am I supposed to get upset? Like the Bulls would be better with Wallace instead of Chandler. Pauly8509CWS
On saying that its on par with the pros does that mean it sucks? Because I thought this year's was bulls*** and really boring.

No, he's first in steals and 10th in blocks while avg. 15+ points and 7 boards against the entire NBA. How is that not good, especially for a former 25th pick? Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 11:21 PM) No, he's first in steals and 10th in blocks while avg. 15+ points and 7 boards against the entire NBA. How is that not good, especially for a former 25th pick? Well, he's got no jumper, can't dribble, can't pass or shoot fts. Yeah, he gets some steals and blocks, but he's crap as far as a man defender. 15 and 7 on a horrible team isn't all that impressive. How many of those come during garbage time in which the Bobcats are losing by 20? He's a decent role player. That's it.

Um Wallace hasn't lived up to the hype because he was drafted a super deep Sacramento team. If he actually stayed there for like 2 years(ALA) along with Rod Gizzard, they would've had a really nice team and Wallace would've spent time playing and developing instead of on the bench because the team didn't want to take the time to develop him. Much like Darko's situation. This is only his 2nd year with major PT.
