Jordan4life_2007
In two years, Kansas State could have a starting lineup of 7-2 Jason Bennett at center, Beasley and 6-9 Herb Pope at forward, with Mayo and Walker at guard. Five years from now, that lineup could win in the NBA. If this happens, be afraid Big 12. Be VERY afraid.
aboz56
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 10:00 PM) If this happens, be afraid Big 12. Be VERY afraid. Huggins will find a way to f*&k up good talent. He's got a knack for it. Edited March 29, 2006 by aboz56
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) Huggins will find a way to f*&k up good talent. He's got a knack for it. True. But that would be a fun team to watch. I still can't see him landing all those guys.
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) Huggins will find a way to f*&k up good talent. He's got a knack for it. Yep. But I agree with JFFL that beware Big 12, since he will rake in the talent. Beware NCAA Tournament? Now that is a different story when it comes to Huggy Bear. Also, Doyel is right in this article but package deals happen all the time, so it's not exactly some sort of breaking unethical practice. I still can't see him landing all those guys. He's an absolute lock to land 4 of them, the only one that's not a lock is Pope, who might end up at Pittsburgh. nitetrain8601
Huggins reminds me of Pat Kennedy. They are awesome recruiters, but they suck at coaching so they usually don't get the best out of their players.
WhiteSoxfan1986
Well now Mayo and Walker are absolute LOCKS to end up at KSU.
Heads22
So it'll just be a bigger deal when we kick the ass outta the state of Kansas.

Huggins will screw this up, and even if they get too campus..Huggins will teach them the wonder of DUI.
fathom
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 06:13 AM) Huggins reminds me of Pat Kennedy. They are awesome recruiters, but they suck at coaching so they usually don't get the best out of their players. I'm not a fan of Huggins, and I would hate to root for a team with him as a coach. However, he's a much better coach than Kennedy. At least Huggins gets his teams to play tough and rebound well.

southsider2k5
It was interesting to see that both of the last two Kansas coaches did this exact samething before.... I wonder if they teach this in Kansas or the Big 12?!?!?
