ssh, what do u mean?  what happened?

Wind blown ball went much further than Iguchi thought and it dropped. Very tough play to make.

Wow...that wind must be pretty stiff for that.  Shake it off Gooch!!!

Haha. It happens all the time in AZ. BA had one earlier. Happened to Ross the other day. Uribe had it happen twice I think.

The wind screwed Iguchi on that one but I've noticed that he is terrible at making catches when he has to backpeddle into the outfield.

He actually got so bad at it last season that he'd be scared to go after some pop flies behind first base or in shallow RF. Luckily, you don't see too many of those type of plays during a season.

Alex Cintron is already out of the game?  Chris Getz is pinch-hitting for him.

Hawk didn't know who Getz was. It reminded me of earlier in spring training when they had Singleton in the booth and Hawk told him how hard he had to work and how much homework he needed to do. The next 3 or 4 Sox hitters Hawk had no clue as to who they were, even when the were announced on the PA. :D

Anyone else notice Freddy is pitching with a "don't give a s***" attitude?

It doesn't bother me, but you can tell he's just going through the motions.

EDIT: And on cue, Hawk/DJ bring it up. :bang

I like to call it "First inning" Freddy.

He has retired 6 in a row though.
