Balta1701 Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 GM is a major funding source for the Safe Kids program, a 501© non-profit group which has advocated for stricter child safety seat laws. (For comparison, the NRA is also a 501© - that tax category is allowed to spend money on advocacy). So they do have input, but beyond that I'm uncertain.
