Heads22
http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?ac...pe=post&id=4899 ^Form Turnout is kind of low at this point. Only 70 or so are in. I'd try to make it if I didn't live in a different state, but y'all have til April 21st to do so. If you have any questions leave them here, but Gage will send an autographed picture to any one that goes and requests the picture.
itsnotrequired
Also, feel free to post or send me a PM where you are sitting. I'll add it to my seating chart. http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbullet...ead.php?t=67674
Chisoxrd5
Seats 4-11 are all mine...ALL MINE!!!!!!!!!!! ok..enough of that. I'm shocked more people don't take advantage of this offer. Good seats to the game, cheap food and beer, its a deal kids. We make a party out of it.
LVSoxFan
I've already bought my ticket. What is included for the price, BTW? Besides the patio party. Food? And our seats? Anybody know where they are?

Xero
We sent our order form out so we should be getting our tickets soon over at South Siders. We have about 15-30 members going so that should put us at about 85-95 people as of yet.
LVSoxFan
This should be fun. Ahhh... Mondays at the Cell. See tag line...

valponick
How is this trip coming along? Also, is there a limit to the amount of tickets we can buy? I'm thinking of going but would like to bring my familiy, probably about 10 of us.

aboz56
Definitely no chance I am going to this now that I'm confirmed for the Angel series out in Anaheim later this month.
southsider2k5
I went last year and had fun. Granted I know some people over there as well as I know people from here, but I think I only heard one joke about people getting their parents to pick up people from Soxtalk, but I could have missed more too. I thought it was a great time and would recommend it to anyone who is still on the fence. really it is an excellent deal, and I think totally worth it. I look forward to seeing all my friends, both new and old at the COTC
Steff
QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 11:12 AM) How come I don't recall any of this extracurricular activity? Because aside from a few catty comments on the concourse, most of it took place in the seats.
Heads22
Gentlemen – As of this AM, we are sitting at 78 COTC tix sold for the May 22 game date. This is much lower than the 213 we had last year. The ticket order deadline is this Fri. (Apr. 21), so my hope is that most people are waiting to the last minute. You might want to post a reminder to your folks on your sites re: the ticket order deadline – all COTC holds will be released this Fri. at 5pm. After that, there is no guarantee on seating or availability for the event. Contact me w/ any questions. Thanks, Kurt
knightni
I faxed my patio party thing in yesterday. I already had tix tho.

For some reason I don't remember any extra activity either...but then again after all the free beer most of the night became a blur anyways. southsider2k5
I would just like to say in people's defense that a Monday nite in May is a horrible time to have this outing and expect 300 people to show. People have to work, there are people still away at college, and kids are still in high school. It was unrealistic to expect a big turnout with those circumstances. I know it looks bad, but the date picking was awful. There are lots of proms, finals, field trips, work etc that make this impossible for a lot of people. Can't blame the Sox for the date. 2 dates were given and the WSI majority picked 5/22 for Frank's return.

Ya, plus WSI tends to really like Frank so they wanted to be there. I can't blame them, its a sentimental game and obviously weekend games will be crowded and even a weekday game in June or July will be tougher than say a May game. I remember hearing they may do a 2nd one, but my guess is with a low turnout in the 1st one (or at least it appears that way), it seems that they'd be reluctant to do one during the summer. I know if its June/July/August I'm so there.

mr_genius
QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 09:00 AM) There was a lot more, and it was just plain stupid. Ironic also considering those calling others immature couldn't see just how childlike their own behavior was. haha, those dorks.
SoxFan1
Can't we just do a SoxTalk one? It seems as though anyone who wants to go from SoxTalk is forced to be among the mass WSI posters. I'm sure there would be a better turnout.
