Rowand has a chance, but merely because of the postseason, the Yankees series last year, and being traded to the Phillies for Jim Thome. All of these things put his name on the map, and since we know that the media basically picks the GG winner (usually at least), he's got a chance. Abreu is the furthest thing from a lock seeing how last year was the first time he's won and he has had a fall from grace after his pathetic second half last year power wise. Also with the way Edmonds is playing right now, if he does keep this up it could be the first time in 6 years that we don't see him winning won. Jones is a lock. And noone is claiming Rowand is god but that is a nifty little belittling statement ya got there, just because some people think Rowand is better than you think he is doesn't me they are claiming his is god. He got to allot of deep balls playing deep, but did not get to allot of balls that should of been caught that fell shallow, maybe that's something they factored in as well, who knows.
