Boone should not be in late in a game with a 1 run game going. I would rather have thorton and his 94 mph fastball going against Hafner in that situation.

Unlikely. B-Mac or not, you don't use a rookie against a guy like Hafner with a one-run lead.

A week ago 3/4 of this site said they didn't want Thornton in unless we had a 6 run lead.

 

But yeah, Cotts should have pitched that inning.

hahahah i thuoght it was "now you know....and knowing is half the battle" or was it learning? someone clarify please because ive been dropping that line incorrectly for a while if its supposed to be learning
