southsider2k5
Don't worry I am done with the arguement. There isn't any point to keeping the same circle going. Its all yours.
greasywheels121
This is the first time the White Sox are below .500 since 2004.
NorthSideSox72
QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 01:18 AM) This thread being here was so predictable. Just like every time Ozzie used someone in any situation last year that wasn't one of our studs. Every time. Yet when October rolled around, our regulars were fresh, our bench was sharp and our bullpen was battle tested. Yet, all year Ozzie was an idiot. ^^^^^^^

BlizzardOfOzzie
Yes, it is WAY early in the year (duh) and I'm the last one who's gonna panic about anything, but I also am very confused with what the hell Guillen is doing with these lineups - especially the last two games. While it's early, it's still important that we get off to a solid fast start. He's putting Boone Logan in there against the Indians. if it was the Devil Rays or the Royals, fine. But no - I'm not big on his lineup cards so far at all. Game Two of the season and you sit Iguchi and Anderson? I don't care what he said about matchup concerns. Anderson has huge shoes to fill this year, has a fantastic Opening Day, and then gets benched because Guillen has "matchup concerns with Westbrook". Um, last time I checked, Westbrook was never an All-Star. No - I don't like this at all.
LVSoxFan
QUOTE(greg775 @ Apr 5, 2006 -> 10:08 PM) KC is up next, LOL Don't assume anything. Remember last September when we didn't exactly the roll the Royals. They have a crappy team but Sweeney is capable of blasting a few hrs, DeJesus isn't bad and their lousy starters like Affeldt are capable of a good outing every once in a while. Oh, you don't have to tell me. Why? I was there. Two games. A night game and the following day game. We lost both. It was brutal. And yes, you're right. Also, that Greinke (sp?) kid gives us fits. LVSoxFan
QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 06:08 PM) Greinke isn't even with the Royals right now. REALLY. I did not know that! Well that's one less thing to worry about I guess. That guy used to shut us down regularly. Remember last year, at the Cell, when he started and we scored no runs but eventually won? Because his reliever walked in two! LOL! That's when I KNEW that season was something special--I will always remember that game, thinking: no. No way. We are not going to win this. We WON! Anyway, I guess I should brush up on KC before I go tomorrow night. Cool park, though. You see it and you can't help but flashback to the 70s (or was it the 80s) and think of the George Brett years.
