Chisoxfn
Was reading ESPN and they talked about how Manuel needs to chill out and let Foulke start. They were baffled at the fact that Foulke got benched for 2 blown saves when JM new damn well that Foulke was injured at the time and had complained to him about it before the saves were blown. Geeze, smooth one their Jerry. Didn't you figure out he was healthy when he ended up finishing the second half of the season with an era that was under 1 if I recall. This is the moron we have managing? I know everyone loves to rip KW, but for cripe sake I never knew Foulke complained about the injury. Mike South24
Hey Jason. Werent you and Mario backing him when i have been bashing him since 2000? 95 wins, big deal. The offense saved his ass that year and he was pinella's b**** in the playoffs.
Chisoxfn
The only thing I've backed about Manuel is the fact that the players seem to like him. As a manager I don't really like him. Now I do back KW to a point. I know he's done a lot of horrible things, but I wonder if it would be any different with anyone else JR brought in. They all are going to be yes men looking for control. Guest hotsoxchick1
even though jm sucks.. you cant blame him for each and everything that happens because its kw whos got hold of the puppet strings and tells jm when to sit or s***.......jm is the fall guy for all of kw's mistakes.......if you dont believe that then review the 2000 season and the past two with kw at the controls......youll see a substantial difference........... Chisoxfn
Well two season ago I didn't see KW really much involved other then the Clayton acquisition and the Wells acquisition. JM called the shots and did a lousy job. Last year Jm called the shots again, until the trade deadline where KW finally took over and said play the youngsters and that was that. I don't see what is wrong with that. If the vets weren't going to be their then its key to see what the future can do and if they are ready. Guest hotsoxchick1
do not be fooled.. since kw came on the scene hes been calling ALL the shots......look how well we did in 2000 compared to 2001 and 2002...... jm just happens to be his fall guy for the last two seasons..... i wish jm would leave, then you could see it plain and simple.....hell you could put the best coaching in there and the same results would happen....kw would call all the shots and the famous tinker, tinker, tinker would still be a regular thing for this team........kw oversteps his bounds on this one...since when does the gm make it his top proirity to put together the daily lineup card anyhow.......ill tell ya when... when you have kw in charge........
