Kenny Rogers, last season, had an ERA of 3.84, won 13 games, and he pitched 210 2/3 innings.  Why would you be surprised that he was signed?

Because he was an aging pitcher asking for a ton of money. Either way, this season he looks like crap. And since its for the Twins, I couldnt be happier...

Kenny Rogers in 2002 -- 13 wins, 3.84 ERA, 210 2/3 IP

Jamie Moyer in 2002 -- 13 wins, 3.32 ERA, 230 2/3 IP

Those numbers are pretty close to each other. Both are "aging". Are you surprised that Moyer is still in the majors? BTW, Jamie is making $6.5M this season. Rogers is making $2M.

Oh. I never knew how much he settled for. Either way I just hate the guy...

OK, Im just mad that he rejected us. But for the amount of money he was asking for, his current stats, which have probably gone to crap with this most recent games, arent very good...

don't back down - K Rogers is crap despite whatever record he has right now ;)
