Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 11:44 AM) Who will be the next Sox player to hit a HR that is not named Jim Thome? The Widge. Crede makes beautiful plays. I love him. We should call him Shakespeare with all the beautiful plays he makes.

Balta1701
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 10:46 AM) I swear to god MLB Gameday is getting worse and worse. Its slower than Konerko rounding third After not having it in the spring, just being able to get the updates is still fairly nice, IMO. It'll get on my nerves again in a few weeks I'm sure. Dick Allen
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 12:44 PM) He had at least 2-3 monsters that were >425 just last year when he was back in June. Don't know about 4, but as many as he got for us, I'm sure he hit a few bombs in a row. 440 feet for Thome. 431 ft was the longest homer at USCF last year. Thome hit one 431 opening night, and 448 game 2. If this one was 440, the one yesterday was probably that as well. Its incredible. Thome was strong to begin with, but with his elbow surgery and back problems, he worked out pretty fiercly, and is probably stronger than he's ever been.
