Texsox
I guess he didn't know 1-900-big-boob was long distance?
Iwritecode
That makes the $700+ bill I got from Verizon seem cheap. Yes, I had to argue with them but they finally got it down to under $50. They gave me 3 "early termination" fees when I cancelled within my free trial period. Horrible company...
jackie hayes
"It wasn't clear whether the bill was a mistake, or if Yahaya's father's phone line was used illegally after his death." Yeah, I'm guessing that, no matter what happened to the line after his death, it'd be pretty difficult to rack up a phone bill worth about 20 times the GDP of the entire United States. Just spitballing, here.

T R U
How can you even send someone a bill in the TRILLIONS and be serious about it? Edited April 10, 2006 by T R U
Wong & Owens
If there was a monthly charge to post on Soxtalk, SS2k5 would top $215 trillion easily.

With his contributions, but we'd all chip in and help drop the bill to $214,999,999,999.

Agreed, I had Verizon for a while and cancelled it. I was willing to pay the fee to cancel. It wasn't a good company or deal at all.
