WinningUgly85
Just because they swept the Cards they think they are going to the World Series. God everyone is going nutz at my school and it doesn't make sense to me. If the cubs do make it to the World Series its because the copied our 2005 formula with small ball and their speedy "Scott Podsednik" pick up in Juan Pierre. Honestly, if the cubs by any chance make it to the world series and win, this town is totally going to put the Sox right back as the second cities ball club and forget about what we did. Every god damn cub fan is going to make it seem like our World Series never happend. I don't want that to happen. This is why we need to win this thing again. I would love to play the cubs in the World Series just like in 1906 and beat their asses just like what we did to the astros. This would end this s***ty feud proving once and for all that the Sox are #1.

Sonik22
Don't worry about it the cubs will fade. I get the same s*** from people at my school and my reply is, "when do the cubs get their rings?"

You would think that the season is more than 6 games old. :headshake

ZoomSlowik
Man, the Scrubs sure are getting rocked today. They're down 9-0 with 5 homers allowed. One of them was a grandslam, another was to the pitcher. Wow, I guess we can start printing the Cubs' World Series tickets. This is going to happen a lot more often now that they actually need a 5th starter.
Kyyle23
The Cubs are now losing 9-0, Will Ohman just gave up a grand slam to Edwin Encarnacion and a solo shot to Adam Kearns back to back. Then, Jacque Jones came off the field because of some non-apparent injury that he suffered while waiting for Michael Wuertz to warm up when he replaced Ohman. f***ing hilarious. Jacque Jones underwent an MRI after leaving Tuesday's game with a strained hamstring, but trainer Mark O'Neal said he didn't expect the injury to be serious. If Jones is day-to-day, there's no way Felix Pie is being called up. John Mabry and Angel Pagan would share time in right field for however long he is out. shoota
It kind of worries me that the Cubs will make the playoffs this year, partly because they're a good team and partly because the NL is weak. The Cubs could win their division with 86 wins, and I think they are good enough to win 86.
