Heads22
Looks like Philly is trying to do a MB impression with a pair of pickoffs.
GoodAsGould
Thats great seeing Malone give up no walks.... he has great stuff if he can just find the strike zone consistently.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 10:03 AM) Thats great seeing Malone give up no walks.... he has great stuff if he can just find the strike zone consistently. He doesn't have that great of stuff anymore. He did do pretty good last season considering he was coming back from a serious arm injury. Chisoxfn
I should add, Malone still is good enough to become a major leaguer, but I have major doubts considering he's never learned to PITCH. Chris Kelly and Lucy are both raking. Two relatively high picks that have been dissapointments (Lucy more than Kelly) who have really jumped out of the gates. BHAMBARONS
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 08:47 PM) Looks like Philly is trying to do a MB impression with a pair of pickoffs. Philly has a damn good move to first it is a borderline balk but it is very effective and picked off an SL high 18 runners last. The move is good because it looks like to the runner that Philly is throwing it to nowhere and the first base sneaks into the open spot slaps the tag and it has caught some good players (Francouer, D. Young and J. Hermida). And more than a couple managers have been tossed because of it as well.
Heads22
Well, Heath could sure have worse comparisons than Mark.

You better believe it I know a lot of pitchers that would love to be compared to Mark B.
