FUCKREINSDORF
I'm glad i'm a bigger Eagles fan than I am a Bears fan.Personally,IMHO,nothing for the Bears will change until the McCheapskates sell the team.Look at the jokes that work for this club. You call Jerry Angelo a GM?? I call him a pathetic waste. Hey,remember, this is the Guy who convinced TB to trade Steve Young.:puke

Kempers
The same offense that put up huge numbers against a stone wall MINNESOTA VIKINGS DEFENSE last week:headbang
Chisoxfn
We had a sorry second half. Miller wasn't accurate, but we couldn't run the ball in the second half like we did in the first half. The big reason for that is the Eagles made an ADJUSTMENT(Bear coaches, you payin attention?) and brought more in to stop the run. The Bears continued to run and couldn't get a meaningful drive going. Defensively we had tons of penalties. Yes, some of them were tick tack ,but we still had at least 75-85 yds of legit penalties and are averaging over 55 of them a game. That goes straight to the coaching staff if you ask me.

Mark f***ing Columbo was #1 this year and he sucks! Most teams can go out and draft 350lb fat asses for the o-line and get lucky if tehy already have an establishe core of the team. Who the f*** picks an offensive lineman 1st without a QB and a good RB. Well, we all thought Freight train was going to be good.
Chisoxfn
Thomas is a good running back. Its hard to run when you have a qb and coordinator that can't spread the field out. I can't think of many backs that can run with a couple new lineman in as well as the line stacked. Thomas looked good today when he had some decent blocking but he had no chance when the Eagles stacked the line and Miller tried to throw the ball. At qb, the Bears wanted Ramsey and tried acquiring him, it didn't work. Oh ya, Colombo is a stud. He's beating the crap out of people in their. Give him some time and he'll be a very good lineman. Of course Big Cat is done so we will need to find a replacement for him. Next year the oline will be good-great again and we will probably dump Chandler, Holdman(Unless he wants to come back cheaper), and Brob(unless he wants to come back cheaper). I don't know how many Bears games you watch, but if you've watched most of the last 6 games, you'll notice that losing Ted has really hurt. Now today, the defense finally stepped up, but this defense has been HORRIBLE since Ted was lost. They simply can't stop the run. That was the biggest strength of the Bears last year. I think most Bears fans are realizing how big Ted was for us last year.

Doug Chapman 5 for 33 Warrick Dunn 15 for 34. T.J. Duckett 5 for 32. Deuce McAllister 17 for 45. Travis Henry 12 for 68. Shawn Bryson 11 for 31. Ahman Green 27 for 107. James Stewart 32 for 172. Michael Bennett 29 for 106. Moe Williams 6 for 9. Throw in the agile QB's rushing yards. Daunte Culpepper 5 for 6. Michael Vick 10 for 56. Aaron Brooks 7 for 28. Daunte Culpepper 8 for 31. Donovan McNabb 9 for 46. Throw in a few other backs/WR's who have had some rushing yardage as well as the other QB's. Add it all up and you get a 127 rushing yards allowed per game average. Second to only that awful awful Seattle rush defense in the NFC. Need I say more? Teams are able to run on the Bears again. Without Ted there is no one there to take up two blockers. Last year he would block one O lineman and the fullback, or two OL. Then he could either make the tackle or free up a LB, usually Urlacher, to come up and make the tackle. This year be it Boone or Peter, the LDT only handles one guy, creating a situation where the FB can be a lead blocker which allows them to run straight at Urlacher and reduce the chance of him making the tackle. Throw in the fact that while he may not have been a good pass rusher, he could force the offense to use either two O lineman or an OL and a FB/RB to keep him from collapsing the pocket. Ahem... :headbang

Well I thought I made it clear that I felt the defense played well yesterday, and that the reason that the Bears are on a 6 game losing streak is because of the defense, NOT the offense. Yesterday was an exception. But like I stated, the Bears have not been the same since Ted was lost.
Mathew
127 per game, what is the average per carry over that span. Other that Stewart and Green's games they don't look that bad average wise, but I was just glancing.
Chisoxfn
I think thats because you don't see the back up running backs in their. I know for example in the Vikings game in week one, Chapman had a ton of rushing yards.
