If we could just get a competent offensive contribution by our center fielder, we'd have a tremendous offense.

He'll get there. We can handle one spot without production. We can't, however, handle two automatic outs back-to-back.

We can afford less production in the nine spot until he gets his bearings.

In time, Cotts will claim that 8th inning "set-up" spot again.  In the mean time, I'm interested in getting as many Ws as possible...in order to do that, McCarthy needs to bridge the gap.

Like I said though, he's only had one bad outing and that game was already over with, he's looked real good when he's pitched in close games.

Mercy....that ball was hit hard.  Big insurance run.  Sisco has not had a lot of luck against us in his career.

He's one guy that seems to give up a run against us everytime he goes out.

Except is first ever outing against us where he was just narsty. Anyways, this team is getting real close to being locked in. Even though we've been winning the last week, we haven't played like we can. Hopefully Garland is starting to get back on track and we can run off a huge winning streak(very possible with this pitching staff).
