SoxFan1
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 04:11 PM) I might have to agree with whiteem0nkey. BMac doesn't use his legs much if at all. Maybe to the naked eye, but he pushes off the rubber with a lot of force. No one on the Earth would be able to throw mid-90's with all-arm. I'm not saying that you said he uses no leg at all but it is more than what meets the eye.

Well let me clear it up that I don't know if I would trade him. I think we should have him work on using alot more leg power though.
SoxFan1
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 04:20 PM) Well let me clear it up that I don't know if I would trade him. I think we should have him work on using alot more leg power though. That depends on how his arm feels toward the end of the season, with him being used more often. If he had persistent arm problems, I would definitely want him to change his mechanics a bit. But, if he feels fine, there is definitely no need to trade him. I think this guy will be a stud. The stud all other Sox prospects were supposed to be.
whitem0nkey
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 04:03 PM) It is also quite a bad idea to trade a pitcher just because you THINK he will have arm problems. What if he becomes a stud? Too bad, he might have shoulder problems. :rolly are you jim hendry?? I bet the cubs could have gotten a lot more for wood after the 20k game, than now. sell high buy low my friend.

Jordan4life_2007
So now we're trading McCarthy because he "might" have arm problems in the future. Only on Soxtalk.

YASNY
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 04:27 PM) Can he get us Pujols? Pujols might develop a plantars wart in the future. Scrap that idea.
