Does he get votes? You're kidding right? Surely you jest?

Thomas is a HOFER no matter what he does this season, or even last season for that matter. His run in the 90's--without a whiff of 'roids suspicion--is one of the greatest offensive production runs ever. By modern definitions of success like OBP and OPS--he is way over the necessary barriers to get into the hall. He was a monster at the plate, and average defensively--although I always laughed at his throwing motion.

Thomas will go down as one of the greatest hitters of all time.

Realizing we are in the era of sabermetrics, and knowing he did play defense for the first 8-10 years of his career, and also having the cababilitiy to play defense until mid-2004, there is not a chance in hell Thomas is not a Hall of Famer. I don't care about his attitude or these injuries and hard times at the end of his career, if he's not a Hall of Famer, playing the game with no unnatural boost whatsoever, I will have lost a lot of respect for the game.
