Nice.  For some reason,  I can't find it in me to give up on Malone.  He's been one of my favorite prospects since like 2001.

me 2... for some reason ive always been a huge fan of his. He still has pretty good stuff.

Nice.  For some reason,  I can't find it in me to give up on Malone.  He's been one of my favorite prospects since like 2001.

The most important thing for him right now is that his control is very good, which was his major problem last season. 8BB's in 3 games that he's started (probably around 20IP) which is a big improvement for him. As long as he can keep that up, there's definitely still hope.

Chris Getz had a real nice game tonight too, 3 for 4 with 2 2B's. Good to see him to start hitting better at B-Ham, AVG up to .269 now.

Carlos Torres only pitched 1 inning tonight, so he may have gotten some type of injury.

2-3 walks a game?  That's still pretty bad.

Malone will never be a stud. Doesn't have the command for that. A viable lefty reliever who could turn into a pretty good one (if he can stay healthy and improve his command enough) is something I could buy.

I'm with that thinking. How old is Malone again?

Seems like he's been in Bham for years now. I'm not knocking Corwin, but the odds are against him considering all the arm troubles he's had and the fact that he's been notoriously known for being a little lazy. Now I have no idea if his work ethic has changed over the years.
