SleepyWhiteSox
QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 11:16 PM) Walker is the BIGGEST COCKSUCKER in the game. You heard (read) me. Why is that? Personally, I'm way too lenient on Chicago guys so I don't absolutely hate any of them...
SoxFan1
I too knew Wade was going to be good. And I was thinking about the 2003 draft as well. If the Bulls picked Wade with the 7th pick in 2003 and then picked Devin Harris in 2004, we'd be in really good shape. kapkomet
Avery kept telling them in the huddle to drive. He didn't let them down, they let themselves down. They kept jumpshots, pretty much from game 3 on.

WilliamTell
lol I'll agree about Walker. Even though he had a couple pretty good games in the finals I still call him a waste of space. He always needs to shoot the 3 when he gets the ball.

Fair enough, and in that case the Mavs can think about how something as simple as not listening and not playing 48 cost them a ring, and let their whole city down. And it's one of the uglier looking shots, up there with Marion. I was pulling for Miami because I wanted Shaq to win a ring without Kobe and Wade is a local guy and I saw him play in HS and felt he deserved it. Not only did Shaq get his ring without Kobe -- Wade -- a 3rd year player -- leads his team to a title and collects the finals MVP.

I thought he was going to be better than Carmello, Chris Bosh, Darko obviously, and give LeBron a run for his money when this class was drafted. He was never going to fall to 7 the only way to get him would have been to trade up into the Raptors spot at 4.

I never said the Bulls passed on him, they just didn't get the opportunity to draft him. So, hypothetically, if they had the opportunity to draft him and did, we'd be sitting pretty right now. I think he meant that the Bulls were definitely praying for him to fall because he would have been our guy and a couple of early mocks, I believe, did indeed have him going to us... But in hindsight, all drafts would be different and all teams would be much improved if they took a few of the guys they passed up on...I mean, the whole damn first round has passed up on guys like Arenas and sometimes undrafted players turn out much, much better than lottery picks...Kinda a crapshoot... So what you're saying is, if the Bulls would have drafted the best player in the NBA in '03 instead of Kirk Hinrich they'd be better off? Quite the insight. Jordan4life_2007
This, my friends, is why we need to draft LaMarcus Aldridge. Even in the "new" NBA, you still need some kind of post-presence to win championships. The Mavs found that out the hard way.

kapkomet
Shaq doesn't bug me, nor Payton. But Walker... :puke I would just as soon kick in the tv screen then look at his whiney little ass. And I said that when he played here in Dallas too. Can't stand him. Didn't like him in college (Kentucky) either. He's a dickhead. Got that cleared up? I better stop before SF1 bans me. Capn12
Throw the whole league away for all I care, the NBA is horrid...48 minutes in a game, and all you need to watch is the last 4 minutes in ANY given game. They need a new slogan.. "Its the NBA, every team makes a run!!" :puke NBA
