sayitaintso
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 10:25 PM) I think the Jeckle-BA lovefest is much funnier. I'm just going thru that thread now and getting some laughs. By the way, for Reading, Haigwood has 13 walks in 14 innings. 1-1, 3.07. WHIP of nearly 2. SSH2005
It's funny to see the different reactions to the Thome acquisition from before the season started to now. Before the season, most Twins and Indians fans were saying that Thome would suck or just get injured with us. Now they are all wishing that their team had acquired him. The Twins could have used him over RonDL White as their DH and the Indians could have stuck him at 1B over their current Ben Broussard / Eduardo Perez platoon. Gio on the other hand.... as good as he was here. I didn't mind losing Haigwood, but I really liked Gio as a spect here. Ah well. We can re-tool alittle on the draft comming up this year. RME JICO
Thome also tied the Big Hurt for the most HRs (9) in a month for a White Sox player. He has 7 more games in April to break the record.

WinningUgly85
I was listening to the score last night on my way home from the game. They said that Thome tied Frank Thomas in Homeruns for the month of April in a White Sox uniform.
