CYGarland
QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) We either have to use Logan in total mop-up situations, or send his ass down. No reason he should be pitching in serious situations. At this point he is pretty much useless in the BP.
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 08:27 PM) He brought in our loogy to face a switch hitter/left hander in the 7th. Ozzie knows what he is doing. Well we are going to lose a lot of close ballgames if Logan is our LOOGY, he's not ready yet. I don't give a f*** what hand the guy throws with if he can't get anybody out.
Ndgt10
Looks like we have some bean ball action in th KC-CLE game. Mienkiewicz just got plunked up in the shoulder area, and earlier in the inning I guess a CLE pitcher got ejected after a hit batsman. Look for a little KC retaliation.... whitesoxfan101
Damnit, Liriano is in. He is Johan 2.0, and I dread the day they wake up and put him in the rotation.

Rowand44
This is the first time Boone has had problems throwing strikes including spring training. If he can throw strikes he'll be fine, if he doesnt he's not going to be good, it's that simple. Got to give him a few more outings before you send him packing. I have no problem with him in, I have a problem with him in where he hasn't been throwing strikes and we give him a shot at 2 lefties, he walks them, and all of a sudden a 4 run lead is in jeopardy. HAHAHA!! BEAUTIFUL!! GREAT JOB AJ!! HIT AND RUN TO PERFECTION!! *applauds*

whitesoxfan101
Awesome!! Liriano with just horrible luck right here too, but great job by Joe to put a decent swing on an 0-2 pitch against a nasty pitcher.

When a guy has 15 strikeouts in 9.1 innings....yes, it's no sure thing. I couldn't be more impressed with Crede's confidence at the plate now. whitesoxfan101
I know in the grand scheme of things and in this game specifically it doesn't mean a lot, but I dont like making Anderson go face somebody this nasty, and I like it even less when we aren't letting him bunt so it's 2nd and 3rd and only 1 out. Even a successful bunt could continue to help his confidence at the plate, and he looked decent up there last night overall. So what does BA do after I go to put this message? He has a solid at bat and walks to load 'em up. Damn Ozzie is good, it's really beyond lucky and just incredible skill, I have NO IDEA how he does it but his moves seem to always work out. jphat007
Liriano can't get us out. Feels like our last game at the Cell in the regular season last year. Well, not really, he did K a bunch of us that game.
