The Home Office said two new toilet blocks are being installed as part of a refurbishment at Brixton jail in south London. Faith leaders had told prison bosses it was unacceptable for Muslim inmates to face Mecca while using the toilet. "The refurbishment has been carried out with due consideration for all faiths", a Home Office spokeswoman said. "Following consultation with faith leaders within the prison, various small adjustments were made to ensure the faith issues of all prisoners are taken into account." She added: "The money spent did not affect the overall cost of the refurbishment programme." For the bold part, just what other considerations were made? Were the toilets positioned so that Catholics don't crap while facing the Vatican? Or were they made silent so as not to bother the Scientologists? What the hell is next? Some members will question your motive and criticize your broad generazation of 'Muslim silliness' based upon a fanactical element. Others will cite odd rituals Christians have done. Personally, I don't believe this issue is much of a concern. Dismantling a toliet secition and rebuilding it for religious purposes soundes rather tame compared to suicide bombings. Im so sick of these people whining about their religion. The way they act you'd think that a muslim's s*** doesn't stink. f***ing spare me.
