fathom
Good inning for Garland. It would be nice to see some quality AB by the Sox this inning.
My Dixie Normus
Gooch scare ya sometimes with those tosses. He had time to step and throw there.
Balta1701
You know, I'm just not that comfortable with the way Garland looks on the mound right now, even though it's working for now. He's behind on too many hitters, he's not working inside at all, every single pitch to Beltre there was low & away.
BigSqwert
I predict a big inning for the Sox.
TitoMB345
Alright, let's get us a few more runs across. I say if we get to 4, we should be alright. Let's also be patience at the plate, and make sure Moyer doesn't make it passed the 6th. Hopefully, they don't bring in Puts or Soriano, high K/9 pitchers. Dick Allen
How long do you think they will let Anderson struggle before replacing him? I still think he can be decent, a lot of really good hitters started out awful. On the other hand, a lot of awful hitters started out awful. fathom
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 03:16 AM) You know, I'm just not that comfortable with the way Garland looks on the mound right now, even though it's working for now. He's behind on too many hitters, he's not working inside at all, every single pitch to Beltre there was low & away. Last year, he feasted off of his sinker in. This year, he's staying more on the outside with all of his pitches. He seems to be aiming his slider though.

fathom
One of the worst AB of the year for Thome. It feels like we blew our chance to get to Moyer, and he's in a groove now.
