The guy practically had us blabbering incoherently, lol. Among many other priceless quotes from GAME THREAD 7-6-2005 SOX vs FISH, FILLET THE FISH!!!!!!!!: GAS!!!! We have our first GAS for Bobby Jenks at a shoulder-high 99 MPH heater. That first pitch to Jonny Gomes was something nasty... woah... faster than fast!!! jenks! HE GONE!!!! GAS!!!! WELCOME TO THE SOUTHSIDE ROOK!!!!!!!! ...damn I love this kid. I wonder how it feels to catch something that fast.lol! holy bleep 2k's.... Man... that kid has an canon... OMG that was beautiful. I'm not annoiting him a god or anything like that, but this guy has the potential to be a major addition down the stretch for the Sox. ...ya think? That last curve Jenks threw... it was f***ing SICK. filthy? that was flat out disgusting God...I swear to God...you do not part with a guy who can do this. Not at his age. . . . There are basically 2 guys in the league who can come in and destroy a team throwing 99 out of the pen...Wagner and Gagne. This kind of talent cannot be replaced. Yeah, but I will take him over either of them Imagine Jenks coming in to just blow away people in the Playoffs. Best. Curve. Ever. We were both spechless and in awe, and I remember us talking after the game saying this kid could be a difference maker for us one day. I'm just glad one day got here as fast as it did.
