Freddy...the Angels are leading the west. This is our first trip there since the ALCS. They're going to be booing. It's going to be a big crowd. This is what we in the fan-biz call "A big game". Oh, and you're also pitching on the road.

(I feel like we have to convince him of these things now a days.)

Go get em Freddo.

And Bats...you're facing Jeff Weaver...it's time to re-awaken!

Booing indeed...I love it. In fact, can we get Doug Eddings assigned to cover the series?

Good ol' Jeff Weaver.

This brings back so much memories......

:fight  :fight  :fight  :fight

I remember a lot of people viewed that fight as the gelling point of the 2000 season. I can't really remember a notable Sox brawl since then, if there's even been one.

I'm likely missing the start of this game, but should be able to see most of it.  Go Sox :D

Why are you going to miss it? The Cubs game is already over. Thus, you shouldn't have to have to flip between your two favorite teams. :P :P

 :P

I'm going to see a friends band at 8, and they are playing a 2 hour set, meaning it ends at gametime, so I'm thinking I'll miss the first inning or so.

Here's an interesting stat - Cleveland has been outhit 13-6 by Texas, but leads in the bottom of the 8th at Cleveland - 6-5. :headshake Detroit, meanwhile, is destroying poor old Minny - 9-0.
