KevHead0881
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 2, 2006 -> 11:17 AM) The crowd in the background of the score sounds like 1000 screaming 10 year olds at the mall. They dont have schools in Cleveland.

southsideirish71
Widger catching anyone = 5 runs or more. No matter how good or how bad anyone looks give them to Widger and they look even worse.

fathom
Can we please not have Widger catch for Buehrle. I'm not blaming Widger for this, but you can tell there's no rhythm between the two.
KevHead0881
Mark is throwing batting practice out there. Must be the Sunday lineups fault.

No....but the one thing I've always argued about the "Sunday lineup" is that the intensity of the team is down. Of course, that's what usually happens when you bench 33 pct of your starting lineup. KevHead0881
You're an idiot if you're blaming Widger for this. Buehrle might as well be lobbing it in there for them.

Y2HH
Buehrle is falling behind on most of these hitters...what do you expect? He needs to get his stuff under control and not fall behind every batter he faces...this is unlike him, and blaming Widger isn't the answer. fathom
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 2, 2006 -> 04:23 PM) Any chance he recovers from this inning and coasts to the 7th? Possibly...but if C.C. is throwing strikes, this lineup will have a difficult time scoring 3 runs against him. It's too bad they didn't start Byrd today.
