KevHead0881
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 2, 2006 -> 11:09 AM) Interesting. That doesn't excite me at all but I assume he's going to replace Boone. Hawk said he'll be getting some work in the minors before he is called up, if he is called up at all. I'm assuming that he'll be up by the end of the month. fathom
We can definitely use a righty specialist. There's simply no reason to have 3 lefties in your bullpen.
hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 2, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) Sox signed Jeff Nelson If his 2005 numbers are any indication, he can still f*** with right-handed hitters. .196 BAA 1.24 WHIP 9 K/9 IP

southsider2k5
With those kind of numbers, why didn't anyone sign him sooner? Is he hurt?

winninguglyin83
Anderson's confidence has to be sub zero he needs to go down and get some hits before he returns.
Kalapse
QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ May 2, 2006 -> 01:06 PM) Anderson's confidence has to be sub zero he needs to go down and get some hits before he returns. Yes because demoting him will help his confidence. Once he starts to struggle in the field or the Sox offense begins to slump I'll get worried but until then I don't see any need to kill his self esteem by sending him back to Charlotte.
