Rowand44
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 5, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) Does Garland have a clause in his contract that states he must allow at least one baserunner every inning? He does actually.

fathom
AJP = Warning Track Power. If this was last year, I would have wondered if he was off the juice.
SSH2005
AJP = Warning Track Power. If this was last year, I would have wondered if he was off the juice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I will take the singles and doubles .300+ hitting AJP over the homer happy AJP of last season. Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2006 -> 08:07 PM) AJP = Warning Track Power. If this was last year, I would have wondered if he was off the juice. He had a bunch of barely-HRs at Comiskey last year -- Ones that would be doubles in most parks, and certainly his old home parks -- His doubles were also down. He entered last season hitting a HR on about 7% of his Flyballs. In 2005, he doubled that to 14% of his flyballs going for HRs. He's not a HR hitter at all. 10-14 is all we should expect. Rowand44
Random question but how has Ross looked in right the past few games? Has he at least been serviceable out there?

Has he at least been serviceable out there? He's Timo-esque, but he doesn't really belong in right with his arm.

His pitch count is pretty low. he really is the only respectable royals SP. He's pretty consistent. At least garland seems to be back on track, not too many balls being hit hard.
