He had a bunch of barely-HRs at Comiskey last year -- Ones that would be doubles in most parks, and certainly his old home parks -- His doubles were also down.

 

He entered last season hitting a HR on about 7% of his Flyballs. In 2005, he doubled that to 14% of his flyballs going for HRs.

 

He's not a HR hitter at all. 10-14 is all we should expect.

Random question but how has Ross looked in right the past few games?  Has he at least been serviceable out there?

 

Yes he's looked fine, much to my surprise. I guess they've had him out there working out.

he really is the only respectable royals SP. He's pretty consistent.

 

At least garland seems to be back on track, not too many balls being hit hard.

We are playing the Royals, but it is a step up from his last outing against this lowly bunch.
