Royals @ Sox

Recommended Posts

Buddy Bell has had a rough go of it with every team he's ever managed. with correct coaching and leadership, that ball club could be a real turn around team. sound like a team you know? KC will need a major overhaul and some roster changes i.e. pitching staff. they can do alright offensively and we've seen that. da Royals big problem is that their starters can't give them more than 6 or 7 IP. they eat up their bullpen. just my zero dollars and 2 cents.

Oh, so they'll be a respectable team if they could only completely overhaul the pitching staff. No problem! :lolhitting

Poor comparison. The Sox entered last season with three high-tier veteran starters (Buehrle, Contreras, and Freddy) and two other guys that are better than anything the Royals have on their staff. On the other hand, only one Royals starter had an ERA under 5.50 last season.

Outside of Sweeney and a couple decent young players (Berroa, DeJesus), they blow.

Seems like these damn Royals like to beat the Indians and White Sox. They may be that pesky team this year that may cause one team or another screw their shot at the playoffs. Let's hope each of our teams makes the playoffs and gets some credit to the AL Central.

If we arent playing them, I usually always cheer for the Royals!!

Yes because a large portion of the time when they are not playing the Sox they're playing one of Minnesota, Cleveland or Detroit whom are much larger threats to the Sox than the Royals.

Our 7-8-9 is pretty putrid -- Gload, Uribe, Anderson.

I guess Sox fans are never happy.

Complaining that Uribe and Anderson weren't in the lineup yesterday, and now there's complaining that they are in the lineup. :headshake

How many people actually did complain that Uribe wasn't in the lineup yesterday before the game? I thought I was the only one :P

I don't know about before, but plenty people certainly complained in hindsight.

I must have made it popular during the pre-game :P

I never complained that they weren't in the lineup. Any way you look at it, it's a weak 7-8-9. Dye being out obviously makes it look a lot worse. And Uribe stopping his leg kick was the worst choice ever.

Damn Ozzie and his stupid Sunday Lineups!

Run-Elvys Hernandez appears to be pitching well this year. Could be another close one tonight.
